Nick & Elena's Pizzeria
About This Spot
Nestled just off Woodson Road in Overland, Nick & Elena’s Pizzeria welcomes you with the kind of warmth that feels like a familiar corner of your neighborhood. The moment you step inside, the hum of conversation and the inviting aroma of baked dough create a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere — a place where time slows enough to savor not just a meal, but a shared moment.
This cozy pizzeria strikes a balance between old-school charm and genuine hospitality. There’s a subtle rhythm to the room: families and friends chatting over classic St. Louis style pizza, the occasional clink of glasses filled with something cold and crisp, and the soft laughter that seems to make the space feel a touch like home. It’s the kind of spot where the servers know your name quickly, and a compliment feels personal rather than rehearsed.
Nick & Elena’s offers more than just pizza; it’s a thoughtful nod to tradition lovingly carried forward. The pizzas are made with a crust that crisps just right, topped with a generous stretch of cheesy indulgence. Whether you lean toward familiar favorites or enjoy the adventure of something like toasted ravioli or homemade cannoli, each bite gives a quiet testament to the care and craft behind the scenes. The menu’s mix of straightforward and special touches feels natural, as if you’ve wandered into a friend’s kitchen where every dish tells a story.
In maintaining this welcoming environment, Nick & Elena’s stands out as a steadfast neighborhood refuge — a place to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the simple joy of good food shared in good company. It’s easy to imagine yourself settling in here again, drawn not just by the menu, but by the human moments that make this pizzeria uniquely comforting.

Great St Louis style pizza! Crispy thin crust with creamy volcanic cheese. And the toasted ravs were great too!

Visited tonight to support this restaurant after hearing how they helped Serra’s pizza after the fire. The environment is cozy and welcoming. The pizza, ravioli, salad and the garlic bread is absolutely worth the wait. They gave us a complimentary dessert for the extended wait. The best pizzeria in stl. Check them out!

Was nice to find a place that's authentic Italian pizza. Especially being from New York it feels like I'm home. This is what you would see in New York or Jersey. The pizza is ! A lot of places always slap an Italian logo and say they got New York style pizza and they'll serve you Stromboli without marinara to dip. I had that experience in Los Angeles LOL

My sister had been wanting to get here to get some pizza because she really enjoys it. She tried to call in her order as soon as they opened (2pm.) But she couldn't get through. She had me place a order inside for a med. thin crust pizza. The pizza was ready in 15-20mins. They place the parmesan cheese and pepper in dry waxed paper bags. I tasted a couple slices of her pizza to see why she had been craving it. I must say I likes it better than Imo's. I don't care for Imo's. I would like to try some of their other pasta dishes and my preferred crust option (hand tossed) pizza with the toppings I like. It's best if you eat the pizza there if you don't live 5 mins. away. If you don't, you will want to reheat it in the air fryer or oven.

Such a cozy step back into nostalgia. Feels like the kind of neighborhood place where you’ll bump into an old friend or strike up a conversation with the next table. Nice service staff, very attentive and concerned about getting everything right. Yummy homestyle St. Louis pizza with whatever toppings you want at reasonable prices. If you’re an ice aficionado, they’ve got the best pellet ice and a plastic cup you’re invited to take with you. Cans of coke products in case that’s your preference. Basic wine and beer offerings that are expansive enough for everyone. Fried cannelloni was a special treat, but make sure you order a salad to balance out all the bread and cheese. Great spot for casual family dinners or catch ups with friends. Hope to go back for many years.

Been driving past this place for years. My wife and I finally decided to swing by Friday night and try it out. We got A LOT of stuff just to try. We had cheesy garlic bread and provel bites for appetizers. The provel bites were top notch delicious. For the entree we had a pepperoni and Jalapeño pizza and an Italian burger with onion rings. Both were amazing, but without a doubt that pizza stole the show. We wrapped everything up with a cheesecake and a chocolate cake, though the chocolate cake was a touch rich, it was delicious. Everything and I do mean everything was great. My wife and I will most certainly be back.
